The Alpena Wildcats earned a decisive 5-0 victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Blue Devils on Thursday, bringing their season record to 7-7.
Alpena’s Jackson Birmingham scored on a penalty kick after the Sault Ste. Marie goalie lunged toward the attempt. The result was part of a shutout victory for the Wildcats.
