Alpena-area residents planning a fall day trip can join the Association of Lifelong Learners for a foliage-focused outing on Oct. 21. The group’s Fall Foliage, Facts and Fun event will take participants to the UAW Conference Center on Black Lake for walking tours, bus tours and lunch.
Attendees will be able to choose from three fall foliage routes to reach the conference center and golf course. The event is being hosted by the Association of Lifelong Learners, also known as ALL.
Ticket prices and sales dates
Tickets cost $30 for ALL members and $40 for non-members. Sales will take place Sept. 15 from noon to 4 p.m. and Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Tickets will be sold in Room 140 at the Madeline Briggs Center, 665 Johnson St., on the Alpena Community College campus.
What attendees need to bring
Attendance requires both a ticket and a name tag provided by ALL. The event committee includes Wendy Payne, Linda Ferguson, Tom Hilberg, and Rob and Jane Roose, according to the event information published by The Alpena News.
